Guide to This Part¶

[PLANNED] This chapter has not yet been written; what follows is a skeleton. The skeleton is laid out at full-treatment scale: the brief version walks only the trunk of each item, and a later expansion thickens the same outline without restructuring.

The closing part of this division. Two lines converge: the classification line (three turnings, four tiers, now five periods and eight teachings) and the doctrinal line (the two truths become three). The set-piece: the very verse Part 18 read as the compact of the theorem, Tiantai reads as three truths in perfect fusion. Whether the two readings collide or each keeps its post is this part's main verdict; alongside runs the other question, whether three-thousand-in-one-thought, a mechanism with no storehouse, stays within conventional status.
